With the first Black President to be sworn into office in the United Sates, the event is destined to go down into history as one of the brightest and biggest ever.

However optimistic Obama’s supporters are, some political pundits are already disappointed by his cabinet choices. According to those disappointed, Obama’s choices are anything but progressive and are too centrist to meet their lofty ideals of “change” for the coming years.

Obama’s challenge is to surround himself with the intellectual muscle he needs to get significant change accomplished quickly, but to be careful not to appoint too many white men, or two many Black men, or too many men in general.

Now that Obama appears to be making some headway in the polls, the negativity of the campaign is fueling some questionable behavior.

The vice presidential debate appears to have been a win for both sides of the fence though most polls are showing Joe Biden with a strong lead over Sarah Palin in overall effectiveness. For Joe Biden, this was probably his best debate ever. And for Sarah Palin, she certainly was able to overcome the past couple of weeks worth of bad publicity.

Regardless of what commentators or partisans thought, for those still uncertain how they will vote in November the highlight of this debate was the character differences between the two candidates.
