Floor Plan
For Every Company Under the Sun
So you want to start your own business. You’ve got the idea. You quit your grueling day job. You have a couple of business partners. Heck, you may have even locked down some clients. The only thing you’re missing is the office. To make matters worse, if you’re in New York City, you can’t even rent a parking space for under $500 a month.
That’s where Sunshine Realty Management comes in. The company offers affordable rental space in New York by leasing whole floors, divvying up the space, and then renting it to small businesses and individual entrepreneurs.
The founders, Joe Raby and Cheni Yerushalmi, were small business owners themselves: Yerushalmi started an Internet company and Raby was its accountant and programmer. The pair had a difficult time finding office space for their new company, and knew that the affordable small-business-office-search was probably an issue other start-ups were facing.
Are you a graphic designer who works for yourself but doesn’t necessarily want to work at home? Sunshine offers small cubicles for $295 a month. Do you run a small magazine with a four-person staff, yet a three-person budget? Sunshine offers fully furnished private offices for as low as $700 a month.
With office spaces in NoHo, Flat Iron and Tribeca West, Sunshine stands out for its trendy design. One of the conference rooms has a waterfall, and the chic kitchen is made of stainless steel.

Office Space
As part of the deal, renters also have access to the Internet, photocopiers, phone and fax lines, office cleaning and conference room meeting space at no additional cost. Renters also gain access to group health insurance, gym membership discounts and networking events. The best part: Space is rented on a month-to-month basis, thanks to Sunshine’s no-obligation contract. If your business goes belly up, getting out of your lease will be the last of your issues.

That is brilliant! I wish they had this in Philly. Hope they expand!
Yo, I’m in this spot like tomorrow. Who wants to go in with me on a cubicle.
Just one.
Seriously tho.
I do. I do! Though I would prefer a private office….
