“If Obama was a white man, he would not be in this position. And if he was a woman of any color, he would not be in this position. He happens to be very lucky to be who
Geraldine Ferraro

he is. And the country is caught up in the concept.”

The above comment is the latest bomb thrown in an already blazoned campaign. Geraldine Ferrora, a democratic politician and a member of Senator Clinton’s campaign finance committee made these remarks after giving a paid speech in Torrance, California.

After coming under fire for her remarks, Ferrora has since resigned from Hilary’s campaign team but has remained unapologetic:

“I am stepping down from your finance committee, so I can speak for myself and you can continue to speak for yourself about what’s at stake in this campaign. The Obama campaign is attacking me to hurt you. I won’t let that happen…. If you point to something that deals with race, you are immediately a racist? Give me a break.”

Below, MSNBC news anchor and commentator Keith Olbermann makes a fierce and compelling commentary about the direction of Senator Clinton’s candidacy and her refusal to repudiate the comments made by her campaign member and avid supporter, Geraldine Ferraro.
