Vice Presidential Debate: Hit or Miss?

The vice presidential debate appears to have been a win for both sides of the fence though most polls are showing Joe Biden with a strong lead over Sarah Palin in overall effectiveness. For Joe Biden, this was probably his best debate ever. And for Sarah Palin, she certainly was able to overcome the past couple of weeks worth of bad publicity.

BAILOUT REJECTED: Here’s Why

The bill to bailout the financial industry was rejected by the house of representatives in a vote of 228 -205 today. I don’t know about you, but I was sure the bill was going to pass, so this was a huge surprise. In a way I am glad the bill failed - I don’t think the American taxpayers should have to pay for Wall Street’s bad investments.
