Nigerian Seun Kuti is a master of Afrobeat, the explosive political music invented by his father, Fela Kuti in the 1970s. Seun plays with Egypt 80 his fathers original band, directing the great musical legacy into the future. This is music of the people, for the people and by the people - hard, big band jazz, Afrofunk with a pulsating rhythmic powerhouse and incisive political messages.
